To express the primary operation of FedEx the corporate headquarters lobby was activated with a series of moving "fins" that would track across the space at different rates. Each fin represented a different line of delivery transport and would wipe through a projected image as it moved though the space. [ Work done while at Landor Associates]
Floating fins move through the space passing through and revealing projected images who's focus is uniquely set to each fin.
Each path of the "fins" was highlighted with corresponding material cut into the floor. The materials represent the different types of transport: air, ground, and final delivery by foot.
